It’s scary to jump in and just start drawing in ink. Sketching at the beach though is perfect.  Nobody is really paying attention to you so you are free to try it.  People are in their own world, lost in their own thoughts and looking very natural.

You have to be quick to capture the moment. There are likely to be mistakes and no way to erase them and refine as you have with a pencil.

What I love though about ink pen is the spontaneity, mistakes and all. For me drawing helps me to analyze, take a deep breath and generally settle into a place.
