“Triple Wave” by Casey Chalem Anderson oil on 2 panels

The big wide horizontal of the ocean stretches wider than your peripheral vision can take in.  You have to turn your head all the way left and then all the way right to take it all in. No wonder you feel such vast space.

Then the charge of the wave rumbling toward you, each time they break is a slight variation from the time before.  You can anticipate that it is going to happen, yet exactly how it divides is unpredictable.

Here’s a small wave panel: http://casey.57interest.com/portfolio-items/billow/

and a 3 panel horizontal http://casey.57interest.com/portfolio-items/three-panel-wave/

Until next time,

Casey
