This spot is one of the most glorious on the East End. The first time I saw this explosion of color stretching out as far as the eye can see I was stunned. I could not believe such a place was right here on Amagansett, NY. The entire farm was donated by Deborah Ann Light to the Peconic Land Trust and is a preserved property. They have an excellent valtrex farm stand where you can get vegetables, breads, pies and bouquets of fresh flowers straight out of the field.
I’ve painted the area numerous times. This extra large version at 6 feet wide will be displayed at the Wesnofeske Barn- Ocean View Farm at the Peconic Land Trust Summer Gala on Sunday, August 4 as part of an exhibition and sale of Plein Air Peconic art group.
