Bridgehampton Wave

Bridgehampton Wave 24 x 36 inches oil/canvas by Casey Chalem Anderson

The holidays are barely over and I can’t stop thinking about the ocean in Summer. As I paint this rolling wave, I’m imagining, thinking back and asking myself, what did the air feel like? Was it brisk and cool or balmy with a warmth underneath the breeze? I try to recall the smell -that clean slightly briny scent that makes me so happy. I’m thinking of the sound, the rhythmic crash of a wave tumbling over as it crashes to the ground.

I’m remembering order tramadol with no prescription what it feels like to walk along the shoreline edge and feel the surf bubble around my feet, waking me up with a shock of cold. And then of course, the colors of Spring and Summer, when the light reflects on the water in a particular way and the plankton make the wave alive with a range of jade green that I can’t stop craving.

Happy New Year 2020! Wishing you the best one ever…….

Casey
