When is the sea like a set of precious gems? It is when the colors are so vivid that you can’t believe that it’s real. It happens when the sunlight hits just right and the air blows clear and brisk. The colors can hypnotize you like a love potion. You fall under a spell and crave more.
Some people fall in love with gemstones and feel the need to hold them, wear them, possess them. (I’m guilty of a love for colored gems and rocks of all kinds). On certain zovirax days the blues and greens of the ocean dazzle with a magnetizing force parallel to the human craving for precious stones. You stand at the shoreline and soak in those colors that look like jade and sapphire. Some call it Vitamin Sea.
But no one can own the ocean……we get to indulge in the salty smell, the rhythmic crashing of waves, and luxuriate in the exquisite colors at the beach without making a purchase. All that magic and it’s free.
