Sammy's Beach, East Hampton 24 x 36 oil/linen

Sammy’s Beach, East Hampton 24 x 36 oil/linen by Casey Chalem Anderson

There is something so intriguing about a path. Catch a glimpse of a twisting trail and we are drawn in. A path in a painting can provide us with a starting point to access the painting. Our eye can literally follow where the diagonal takes us. In the painting above it’s toward the wide expanse of open blue water that runs across the horizon. There is a gentle counter balance of wind that the sailboats are gliding on.

This is such a very special place to be and revitalize. The day was warm and far from the sounds of traffic or talk. Only ventolin online no rx some buzzing from insects and the rustle of a slight breeze. I love that a painting can remind of those sensations for a lifetime.

Do you have some favorite places that stay with you in your mind’s eye? I’d love to hear about them…..and perhaps have the opportunity to paint them when it warms up again.

For gift giving or to capture one of those moments for yourself, here is a link to my prints available from Artfully Walls:  https://www.artfullywalls.com/works?query=casey+chalem+anderson

Until next time,

Casey
