At first it was impossible to paint. People wrote things like: now I finally have the time to paint a picture, write a song, bake some bread. Being creative felt indulgent, like I was ignoring our new reality.
But…..painting gives me hope. I work it through and try with all my might to make a painting that brings me some calm, clarity, and much needed solace. I hope the raw beauty I paint gives you something YOU need.
